Welcome to Sprite ("we", "us", "our"), operated at spritecreator.online. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1.1 Service Description

Sprite is an AI-powered sprite animation generator. Users upload character images, select animations, and receive generated spritesheets suitable for use in game development. The service operates on a coin-based system.

1.2 Accounts

You must create an account to use Sprite. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the service.

1.3 Coins & Payment

Coins are purchased through Polar and are used to generate animations. All prices are listed in USD. We reserve the right to change coin pricing, coin expiration policies, or coin terms at any time with reasonable notice; existing purchased coins remain usable until any announced changes take effect.

1.4 Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights of others
• Upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or disrupt the service
• Use automated tools to scrape or abuse the service
• Resell or redistribute the service itself

1.5 Generated Content

You retain ownership of the character images you upload. Generated animations and spritesheets are yours to use for personal and commercial game development purposes. We do not claim ownership over your generated content.

1.6 Service Availability

We strive to maintain service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any damages arising from service downtime or generated output quality.

1.7 Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, all unused coins are forfeited.

1.8 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sprite and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

1.9 Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

2.1 Information We Collect

We collect the following information:

• Account information: email address and profile data provided through Clerk authentication
• Uploaded content: character images you upload for animation generation
• Usage data: project and animation metadata, coin transactions
• Error tracking: technical error data collected via Sentry to improve service reliability

2.2 How We Use Your Data

Your data is used to:

• Provide and operate the sprite generation service
• Process payments through Polar
• Improve service quality and fix bugs
• Communicate important service updates

2.3 Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

• Clerk — authentication and user management
• Polar — payment processing
• Sentry — error tracking and monitoring

Each service operates under its own privacy policy.

2.4 Data Storage

Uploaded images and generated assets are stored in cloud storage. We retain your data as long as your account is active or as needed to operate the service. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us, and we will make reasonable efforts to comply.

2.5 Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data with third parties except as required to operate the service (payment processing, authentication) or as required by law.

2.6 Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at support@spritecreator.online.

3.1 Coin Purchases

All coin purchases are final. Because coins are consumed immediately upon use to generate AI-powered animations, we generally do not offer refunds for used coins.

3.2 Eligible Refunds

We may, at our sole discretion, issue refunds in the following cases:

• Technical failure: coins were deducted but no animation was generated due to a service error
• Duplicate purchase: you were accidentally charged multiple times for the same transaction

3.3 How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact us at support@spritecreator.online with your account email and a description of the issue. Approved refunds are processed through Polar to the original payment method.
